In Central Florida's Polk County

Central Florida’s Center of Adventure safe bicycling routes leads through historic downtowns and fragrant orange groves. For mountain bikers, the area's hills and valleys offer more challenging terrain. The Van Fleet State Trail, one of Florida's most rural rails-to-trails, is a 29.2-mile paved multi-use trail out of Polk City. Lakeland's Loyce Harpe Park Trail (formerly Carter Road Park Trail) features a mountain biking course.
